Coquitlam Heritage Society hosts its annual Mid Autumn Moon Festival at Mackin Park, bringing lion dancing, live music, crafts, and cultural vendors from around the Tri-Cities together for a free, family-friendly afternoon. Free mooncake tasting and mooncake-making demonstrations run at select times throughout the day, making it a welcoming event whether attendees have celebrated Mid Autumn Moon for years or are experiencing it for the first time.

About Coquitlam Heritage Society
Coquitlam Heritage Society (CHS) runs Mackin House Museum, operating since June 1993 out of the museum's lower level. Beyond hosting cultural events like this one, CHS offers tours of the Fraser Mills Train Station and CP Rail 1970s Caboose at Heritage Square, operates as Coquitlam's Tourism Information Centre, maintains archival collections, and collects oral histories preserving residents' lived experiences.
