Celebrate Canada Day 2025 in Burnaby with StreetFest on Central, a massive free public festival packed with family fun, multicultural performances, food trucks, kids' activities, and a spectacular fireworks finale at Central Park. This exciting evening celebration is one of Burnaby’s largest Canada Day events, hosted in partnership with Concord Pacific and easily accessible via Metrotown and Patterson SkyTrain stations.

From live music by Canadian artists including MAGIC!, Asad Khan + Friends, and Kaeley Jade, to delicious food vendors and a vibrant family zone, this festival brings the community together for an unforgettable summer night.

• Bike Valet at Patterson Tennis Courts

• Accessible drop-off zone at Olive Ave & James St. (SPARC pass required)

• Patterson & Metrotown SkyTrain stations operate on holiday schedule

• Bus 129 rerouted to Metrotown Loop on July 1

🌈 Quiet Zone

Located in Civic Square – this reduced sensory space is designed for neurodivergent attendees who need a calm environment away from noise and crowds.

🚧 Road Closures

Road closures will be in effect from 2:00 PM on July 1 to 12:01 AM on July 2, including:

• Patterson Ave

• Central Blvd

• Olive Ave

• Wilson Ave

• Beresford St

No Parking or special event parking restrictions will apply across these areas. Vehicles left on restricted roads after 11:59 PM on June 30 will be towed. Full details at burnaby.ca

🌦 Weather & Safety

The event runs rain or shine, with misting stations available during hot weather. No smoking permitted. Please leave pets at home—service animals allowed.
