Kulinarya: Traditional Filipino Food and Kamayan Feasts on Commercial Drive
Kulinarya Filipino Eatery is one of Metro Vancouver's best-known Filipino restaurants, serving traditional dishes rather than the fast-food turo-turo style. It is famous for its kamayan feast, a boodle-fight spread on banana leaves that you eat with your hands.
Here's what to order at Kulinarya.
About Kulinarya Filipino Eatery
Kulinarya first opened in Coquitlam and later added its Commercial Drive restaurant, where its owner set out to share traditional Filipino food that is personal to her.
When The Globe and Mail reviewed it, Kulinarya was the only Filipino restaurant in Metro Vancouver offering a boodle fight. It also has a strong vegan menu.
