The original Mott 32 opened in Hong Kong, and its name references the address of New York's first Chinese convenience store, at 32 Mott Street. The Vancouver restaurant opened in late 2016 with a dark, dramatic dining room that blends vintage Chinese touches with modern design.
Ingredients are taken seriously. The team tested dozens of duck sources before partnering with a Fraser Valley farm that raises ducks to its specifications, and the menu combines Cantonese, Sichuan and Beijing cooking with premium seafood and beef.
