Osteria Savio Volpe is an Italian osteria at 615 Kingsway, near Fraser Street. It opened in November 2015 from chef Mark Perrier, restaurateur Paul Grunberg (L'Abattoir) and designer Craig Stanghetta, and its name means "tavern of the wise fox."

About Osteria Savio Volpe

The open kitchen centres on a wood-fired grill and rotisserie that burn a mix of grape vines, maple, alder and oak. Pasta is handmade fresh every day.

Perrier was previously executive chef at CinCin and trained at Le Gavroche in London. The restaurant is now part of the Banda Volpi group, which also runs Pepino's, Caffè La Tana and Elio Volpe. Judges praised the whole experience: a lively room, an adventurous wine list and consistently strong service.
