Science World After Dark turns sinister for its most spine-tingling event of the year. This is no kids’ Halloween party: adults 19 and up are invited to explore a haunted dome with a bewitching brew, unsettling spectacles, and shock-worthy science. It’s one of Science World’s top-selling After Dark events, so it’s a good one to book early if you want to geek out at the gore and learn the science behind the horror.

Vincent Rice
A seasoned host of local Vancouver productions, Vincent Rice is the emcee for the night and prepares the crowd for the creepiest, goriest science of the evening.
Neil E. Dee
Neil E. Dee has been mesmerizing audiences with death-defying acts for more than two decades. His stunts include sword swallowing with some of the craziest swords in the business, lying on machetes while bricks are broken on him, unusual weightlifting with metal hooks, and acting as a human dartboard. Be ready to be amazed, and maybe a little grossed out.
Food, Drink, and Shopping
Wine, beer, and alcohol-free sips are available for purchase, along with burgers and milkshakes at Triple O’s and popcorn and snacks at the Snack Lab. The Science Store is also open for souvenirs.

- 19+ only. Bring government ID, because there is no entry without it.
- Limited tickets. Buy yours before they sell out.
- Doors open at 6:00 PM, so leave enough time for all the activities.
- Costumes encouraged. Visitor costumes are permitted and encouraged at this special event.
- All sales are final. Tickets can’t be resold, refunded, or combined with other offers.
- Security checks, including possible body searches, keep the night smooth and safe.
