Now in its 122nd year for the Fall Fair and 78th year for the Corn Festival, the Agassiz Fall Fair and Corn Festival is a non-profit-run community tradition drawing an average of 10,000 people every September on the third weekend after Labour Day. This year's theme is "A Hay Day," celebrating agriculture, fun and games, and friendly competition across a full weekend.
What to Expect
Parade & Midway
A community parade kicks off the fair, followed by midway rides and carnival games throughout the weekend.
Exhibits & Competitions
Award-winning entries span baking, produce, art, needlework, photography, and kids' categories ranging from trash craft to Lego. Entering is open to the public — bring a float or costume for the parade, or submit an entry for a chance at a ribbon.
Animals
Dogs, cows, llamas, and more are shown by responsible owners happy to talk about their animals and their passion for them.
Farmer's Market & Kids Zone
A farmer's market and a dedicated kids zone round out the daytime activities.
Live Music & Food
Live music and entertainment run throughout the fair, alongside barbecued chicken, fresh local corn, hamburgers, and mini donuts.
