Bear Creek Park hosts two very different train experiences this fall: a family-friendly Pumpkin Train by day, and a haunted Halloween Scream Train by night.
Pumpkin Train (Daytime)
A gentle, family-friendly train ride through a decorated forest, included with admission:
- Train ride through the decorated forest
- A treat
- A pumpkin
- Crafts
When: Daily, October 1–31, 2026, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Cost: $12 per person plus tax; under 2 years free
Note: No online tickets available — this is first come, first served. On Sunday, October 25, the train is closed to the public from 10 AM–5 PM in support of Canucks Autism Network families.

Halloween Scream Train (Nighttime)
For those looking for scares instead of crafts, the Halloween Scream Train sends riders through a haunted forest populated with live scary actors — including the infamous Chainsaw Charlie.
When: Nightly, October 16 – November 1, 2026, 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Cost: $18 per person
Recommended for: Ages 12 and up (all ages welcome at parents' discretion)
Good to Know
- Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable — arrive on time for your scheduled slot
- If online tickets sell out, walk-ins may still be accepted, though a wait should be expected
- Concessions available on-site, including hot and cold drinks, chips, candy, popcorn, and hotdogs
