Event Overview
One of Canada’s most iconic running events returns as the BMO Vancouver Marathon 2026 takes over the city on Sunday, May 3. Recognized as one of the world’s top destination races, this event features a full marathon, half marathon, and 8KM race through some of Vancouver’s most scenic routes, including waterfront paths, beaches, and Stanley Park.
With thousands of runners and spectators, the marathon creates a vibrant, city-wide atmosphere filled with energy, community spirit, and celebration.

Start Line: Queen Elizabeth Park, Vancouver, BC
Finish Line Area: Downtown Vancouver (near Burrard & W Hastings)
The course follows a point-to-point route showcasing Vancouver’s natural beauty, including parks, ocean views, and the iconic Seawall.

Sunday, May 3, 2026
- Half Marathon: 7:00 AM
- Marathon: 8:30 AM
- 8KM Race: 9:30 AM
Participants are encouraged to arrive at least 45 minutes early.
Package Pickup & Expo
All runners must pick up race kits in advance at the Health, Sports & Lifestyle Expo:
