Haunted Village at Burnaby Village Museum 2026
Step into a world of enchantment and intrigue at Burnaby Village Museum's Haunted Village, themed "Legends, Tales and Other Stories." Journey through spooky, captivating activations and vignettes featuring Halloween characters and creatures across the museum's 10-acre open-air site. Along the way you'll meet roving entertainers and performers, see dramatic lighting and special effects, and run into Halloween favourites including witches, vampires, skeletons, ghosts, spiders, ravens, and bats. Trick-or-treating returns on Halloween night.

Wander the site to encounter a haunted graveyard, a spooky circus, bewitching stores, and many more surprises.
Performances and Activations
Roving entertainers, performers, lighting, and special effects appear throughout the site.
DJ Dracula's Dance Party
Back by popular demand, DJ Dracula (DJ Drac) and his legion of dancers get the dance floor moving at Vorce Station.
Trick-or-Treating on Halloween Night
Trick-or-treating returns on October 31.
Mai's Café
Halloween-themed treats and warm beverages are available for purchase at Mai's Café.
Carousel Closed
The carousel won't be running during Haunted Village, because something mysterious has happened to the horses. Dare to find out.
Tickets & Entry
- Choose a 30-minute entry window when you book. The last entrance is at 8:00 PM, and the museum closes at 9:00 PM
- Tickets are also available at the gate, and booking in advance saves money
- Bring your printed ticket or e-ticket on your phone to the gate
- The event runs rain or shine, and tickets are non-refundable
- To change only the day and time, a $2.00 exchange fee applies to each ticket, and 24 hours' notice is required
- Parking is limited given the event's popularity, so consider carpooling or taking public transit
