Now in its 6th year, the Turkish Festival returns to The Shipyards bigger and stronger than ever, bringing culture, heritage, and community together for a full day celebrating the traditions of Türkiye and the Turkic nations. The festival invites families and friends to hear the music, see the dances, taste the flavours, and experience Turkish culture together — an opportunity to celebrate where the community comes from and pass those traditions on to the next generation.
What to Expect
Live Music & Dance
Traditional Turkish music and dance performances run throughout the day, including whirling dervish performances and live musicians on saz and drum.
Turkish Food
Authentic Turkish food is served throughout the festival, including döner, gözleme, çiğ köfte, roasted corn (mısır), and dondurma (Turkish ice cream).
Culture & Community
The festival brings together the local Turkish and Turkic community for a shared celebration of heritage, open to all who want to experience it.
