Event Overview
The Vancouver International Flamenco Festival (VIFM) 2025 returns September 20–28 to celebrate its 35th anniversary with an unforgettable lineup of performances, workshops, and cultural events. Produced by Flamenco Rosario, the festival is one of the few internationally recognized flamenco festivals outside of Spain, blending flamenco’s hybrid roots in Sephardic, Persian, Gypsy, and Indian cultures with contemporary innovation.
This year’s milestone edition will feature world-class performers from Spain, Morocco, Cuba, Iran, Mexico, Canada, and beyond. From fiery dance and intricate guitar rhythms to intimate workshops and free community showcases, the festival offers something for flamenco aficionados, families, and newcomers alike.
