WWF BC Place Climb for Nature 2026

Very little compares to the electric energy of a stadium of people sharing the same passion for nature and rooting for its conservation. The WWF BC Place Climb for Nature is your chance to get off the sidelines and into the fight against wildlife loss and climate change by fundraising and climbing the stands of this iconic stadium. Choose a single-bowl climb of about 3,000 steps up and down, or take on the double bowl for about 6,000 steps. Register as an individual or with a team of friends, family, colleagues, or fellow students, and join hundreds of fellow wildlife fans in this family-friendly event.

• When: Saturday, October 24, 2026 | Arrival and check-in 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

• Cost: Registration $20 for adults and $10 for kids, youth under 18, and students, plus a minimum fundraising amount

How It Works

1. Register online, set your goals, and create your personal fundraising page
2. Train and fundraise your way to victory
3. Arrive at BC Place on event day to check in and collect your timing device
4. Climb the stairs of the lower bowl on a marked course alongside fellow climbers
5. Cross the finish, get your official climb time T-shirt and rewards, then celebrate

Registration and Fundraising

• Adults: $20 registration fee and a minimum of $50 in fundraising
• Kids, youth (under 18), and students: $10 registration fee and a minimum of $30 in fundraising

The minimum fundraising must be submitted on or before climb day to be eligible to climb. If you have questions about fundraising, the organizers can help you reach your goal.

Fundraising Rewards

Fundraisers can earn rewards, and a Burdock & Co. contest offers a chance to win a $300 gift card.

Spectators

Come cheer on friends and family as they take on the stands. A section is reserved for spectators so they can watch the action and support the climbers.

Corporate Teams

Climbing as a corporate team is a fun and meaningful way to engage employees and support workplace wellness while making an impact for nature.

How Your Climb Makes a Difference

Funds raised support WWF-Canada’s 10-year plan to Regenerate Canada and create a future where wildlife, nature, and people thrive. Its goals are to:

• Restore at least one million hectares, regenerating lost ecosystems that provide wildlife habitat and sequester carbon
• Steward at least 100 million hectares of vital ecosystems for wildlife and communities
• Reduce carbon emissions by 30 million tonnes by restoring carbon-rich habitats and protecting existing carbon stores
