About A.Bento

Chef-owner Aaron (Jian) Zhou noticed a gap in Vancouver's restaurant scene while in culinary school: there were too few places serving real Taiwanese food. A.Bento, named for the Taiwanese bento box, is his answer, reimagining classic Taiwanese bento and night market dishes with high-quality, locally sourced ingredients.

The restaurant has grown beyond its dining room, selling frozen and vacuum-packed favourites such as pork ragu and Taiwanese sausage for home cooking.
