España: Spanish Tapas on Denman Street
España is an intimate Spanish tapas restaurant at 1118 Denman Street in the West End. It opened in 2012 from Ed Perrow and chef Neil Taylor, two British-born industry veterans.
España earned an honourable mention for Best Mediterranean at the 2026 Vancouver Magazine Restaurant Awards. Here's what to order.
About España
Perrow previously ran Bin 941 and helped open La Brasserie, while Taylor came from Cibo and London's River Café. The cozy room seats about 40.
The menu of around 40 tapas changes with the seasons, mixing BC produce with ingredients imported from Spain. The wine and sherry list is extensive.
