For three decades, the Arts Alive Festival has closed down a stretch of Fraser Highway and turned it into one of the Lower Mainland's biggest open-air art shows. This year marks the festival's 30th anniversary, bringing together more than 200 visual and performing artists for a full day of free, non-stop entertainment along Downtown Langley's main strip.
Expect the street lined with painters, potters, sculptors, and jewellery designers showing off original work, live music running from open to close on the Main Stage, roving performers and pop-up acts weaving through the crowd all day, and food trucks and local restaurants keeping everyone fed between sets.
