- Hosted by: Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, curated by the VSO Indigenous Council
Now in its fourth year, The Path Forward is a free community celebration curated by the VSO Indigenous Council, representing a meaningful step in the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra's ongoing journey toward Truth and Reconciliation. The evening brings together the VSO with Indigenous artists and musicians from the Coast Salish Territory, including members of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations, followed by a fashion show by renowned designer Pam Baker and performances by Nova Wolf, We Nahanee, and Proud Little Warriors.
Program
4:00 PM – 6:00 PM — Family Zone
Doors open with a family/play zone featuring instrument trying stations, vendors showcasing Indigenous businesses, and food from Queen Bannock Bakery.
4:30 PM – 5:30 PM — Face Painting
Provided by Living Magic Entertainment.
6:00 PM – 8:30 PM — Concert & Fashion Show
The VSO performs alongside Indigenous artists and musicians, followed by a fashion show from designer Pam Baker (Himikalas) and performances by Nova Wolf, We Nahanee, and Proud Little Warriors.

Food
Tradish Cafe food truck on-site, plus free bannock and jam from Queen Bannock Bakery.
