Event Overview

Experience one of Vancouver’s biggest free music celebrations at Day of Music 2026, presented by the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. This city-wide event features more than 70 free performances across multiple venues in Downtown Vancouver and Granville Island, showcasing orchestral music, jazz, world music, Afrobeat, flamenco, musical theatre, chamber ensembles, interactive workshops, and family-friendly activities.

The full-day celebration concludes with a spectacular free evening concert by the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra at the Orpheum Theatre.
