Filipino food is under-represented in major restaurant awards, so we used the restaurants taking part in Filipino Restaurant Month in Canada, which is supported by the Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver, along with local food coverage and long-running community favourites.
We checked that each restaurant is currently operating and left out places that have closed or moved to food trucks only. That is why this is a Top 13.
