We started with the 2026 Vancouver Magazine Restaurant Awards for Best Thai and the 2026 MICHELIN Guide Vancouver, which lists Song as a Bib Gourmand and Maenam, Zab Bite and Jay Nok as Recommended. We added Baan Lao in Richmond, outside Michelin's coverage area but one of Canada's most awarded restaurants, plus long-running local favourites.
We checked every address and detail against the restaurants' own information and reliable local sources.
