Tayybeh is a Syrian restaurant at 151 West Broadway in Mount Pleasant, run by a team of newcomer Syrian women chefs. It moved there from Kitsilano in early 2026, to a bigger dining room.
Tayybeh means both "kind" and "delicious" in Arabic. It earned an honourable mention for Best Middle Eastern at the 2025 Vancouver Magazine Restaurant Awards. Here's what to order.
About Tayybeh
Tayybeh has roots in a social enterprise that connects Syrian women who have made their lives in Vancouver with the city's food economy, through catering and dining.
The new space expanded the dine-in experience and brought back Tayybeh's signature weekend Syrian brunch.
