Explore Richmond’s hidden gems, cultural landmarks, historic sites, and community spaces during Doors Open Richmond 2026. Returning for its 19th annual edition, this free city-wide event invites residents and visitors to discover the people, places, and stories that make Richmond one of Metro Vancouver’s most culturally diverse communities.
Across two days, visitors can enjoy behind-the-scenes access to more than 45 participating sites including museums, art studios, historic buildings, working farms, places of worship, civic facilities, and cultural organizations. Since launching in 2008, Doors Open Richmond has welcomed more than 269,000 visits to unique spaces throughout the city.
Whether you’re interested in local history, arts, architecture, multicultural experiences, or family-friendly exploration, Doors Open Richmond offers one of the region’s best free cultural weekends.
