Event Overview
The Parade of Lost Souls returns to East Vancouver on November 1, 2025, inviting the community to celebrate creativity, music, dance, and art in a magical, spooky evening tradition. Presented by the Dusty Flowerpot Cabaret, this grassroots festival thrives through community support, volunteer energy, and the generous donations that keep the parade alive year after year.
The 2025 theme is “The Thinning of the Veil,” highlighting the mystical moment when the worlds of the living and the dead come closest.

Parade of Little Souls (Family-Friendly) – 7:00 PM

Parade of Lost Souls – Processions at 8:00 PM & 9:00 PM

Lost Souls After Party (19+) – 10:00 PM – 2:00 AM
The exact parade location will be announced at midnight on October 31, 2025.
After Party
The night continues with the Lost Souls After Party featuring live music, performances, and immersive visuals. This 19+ event requires tickets, which go on sale September 1.
Workshops & Activities
Leading up to the parade, the community is encouraged to get involved through free or by-donation workshops:

Thriller Dance Workshop – Learn Michael Jackson’s classic choreography.

Time Warp Workshop – Dance to The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Parade Dancers Workshop – Join the Carnival Band with simple choreography.

Costume Sales & Open Houses – Fridays in September and October at Dusty Flowerpot Cabaret (2050 Scotia Street).
Workshops are held at Britannia High School Cafeteria, 1001 Cotton Drive, Vancouver.

The Parade of Lost Souls is a community celebration at heart. You can:

All ages are welcome, but children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
