About Monarca
Ophelia is named after the chef's mother; Monarca pays homage to his father. Monarch butterflies are seen in Mexican culture as the spirits of ancestors returning to visit their families.
The menu is playful, modern and rooted in tradition, with house-made salsas, botanas (appetizers), mains, meat dishes and tacos, plus a long list of tequila and mezcal.
