La Taqueria: Mexican Street Tacos Since 2009
La Taqueria Pinche Taco Shop brought Mexican street-style tacos to downtown Vancouver when it opened on West Hastings Street in 2009. It now has several Metro Vancouver locations, including the Yukon Street comedor at 2450 Yukon Street in Mount Pleasant and Amazing Brentwood in Burnaby.

About La Taqueria
The original 322 West Hastings shop closed in May 2025 because of redevelopment, and the brand announced a new downtown spot at 601 West Hastings.
The menu sticks to tacos, Mexico City-style quesadillas and margaritas, with meat and vegetarian fillings on corn tortillas.
