Vancouver sizzles for one day of daring bites and West Coast creativity at Picklefest, bringing together 40+ local vendors, live music, and unexpected pairings for a full day of crunchy discoveries. From fermented specialties to hot sauces and pickled everything, the festival covers a wide range of West Coast food craft in one location.

Show Us Your Pickle Contest
Proudly sponsored by Putter's Pickles, this home pickling competition invites entrants to submit their best homemade pickles across five categories. Entries are judged in advance by a panel of pickle-loving judges, with category winners and one overall Best in Show announced live at the festival.
How to Enter
- Submit an online application form
- Prepare one clearly labelled jar per entry
- Drop off jars at the specified location and time
- Attend Picklefest for the winners announcement
Entry Rules
- Entries should primarily be pickled cucumbers; other pickled fruits or vegetables may qualify for the Most Creative categories if they meet food-safety requirements
- Up to two entries per participant, each in one category only
- One clearly labelled jar required per entry
- Entry fee includes one festival ticket
- Jars are not returned
- Entries capped at 50 per market

Tickets
- General Admission: $25 + fees
- VIP Early Access (10:00 AM): $35 + fees — includes an hour of early entry ahead of the crowds, with first access to shop and meet vendors
- Tickets cover event entry only; food and drinks are purchased separately from vendors and bars
- All tickets are final sale, with no refunds
- Mobile ticket scanning accepted — no printing required
